Bio & resume

A Greek native, Georgios Drakontaeidis is an Architect (RIBA,ARB), Computational Design Specialist and Product Designer based in London, His research explores how technology interacts and affects the way we design, make, and visualize our environment. Through his collaboration with designers and artists, he has developed top-notch skills that vary from complex geometrical modeling and 3d visualization to creative coding and architectural robotics.

Georgios has been worked as an architectural roboticist at the Bartlett School of Architecture where he has taught a plethora of computational design seminars and has contributed to the online teaching material of robotics as well as rhino-gh for the academic year 2020-2021. He has previously worked for Foster and Partners, WilkinsonEyre Architects and EcoLogicStudio on a number of international competitions and exhibitions. He holds a 5-year diploma in Architectural Engineering from N.T.U of Athens and a MArch in Architectural Design from the Bartlett, UCL with a scholarship from Lilian Voudouri foundation. His Master thesis ‘3Dprint.AI’ was published and presented at conferences and publications internationally.
